Enneagram Coaching

Enneagram Coaching

The Enneagram is a cornerstone of our coaching philosophy. We believe that skilled Enneagram coaching is the most powerful catalyst for individuals seeking profound professional and personal growth, and for organizations committed to building high-performing, engaged, cohesive teams.

What Is the Enneagram?

The Enneagram is a powerful tool for self-discovery, revealing what motivates us. Much more than a personality test, it goes beyond describing behaviors to focus on our intrinsic motivations, helping us understand our patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that impact our work, relationships, leadership styles and more. It unlocks powerful insights and accelerates self-awareness, an essential foundation for effective coaching.

“What sets the Enneagram apart is its depth. It not only helps you understand why you do what you do, but also equips you to recognize when your patterns are helping – or holding you back.”

~ Kimberly Harris

Certified and Experienced

Enneagram Coaching

As a certified Enneagram coach with a background in business consulting, Kimberly brings more than insight – she brings precision. She uses the Enneagram not just as a self-awareness tool, but as a strategic lens to uncover patterns that shape how leaders think, communicate and lead. Her work helps individuals and teams break through plateaus, navigate conflict, and lead with greater clarity, courage and impact.

She is an experienced Enneagram assessment and coaching professional, certified as an iEQ9 Integrative Enneagram Practitioner, Levels 1 and 2.

Level 1 iEQ9 Integrative Enneagram Certification

Level 1 certification focuses on a deep understanding of the Enneagram for individual growth, equipping certified coaches to expertly interpret the iEQ9 professional reports and provide powerful one-on-one coaching. Coaches learn to debrief clients on their core type, subtypes and turn insights into a unique development path to unlock profound growth.

Level 2 iEQ9 Integrative Enneagram Certification

Building on Level 1, the Level 2 certification centers on TEAM and group dynamics, training Level 2 coaches to interpret iEQ9 Team Reports and facilitate workshops. Those certified at this level have developed the skills to apply the Enneagram in complex organizational settings, improving team cohesion, communication and overall performance.

A word from Kimberly about the Enneagram:

“If you (or your team) are ready to look deeper into yourself to understand your own motivations and behaviors, the Enneagram is a powerful place to begin. This tool, plus working with a certified coach (like me!), can help guide you through the Enneagram’s insights, unlock learnings, help put those into action … and re-invigorate you

There are so many great tools for assessing your personality, and maybe you know your ‘type’ or ‘color’ or ‘strengths.’ But what sets the Enneagram apart is its depth. It not only helps you understand why you do what you do, but also equips you to recognize when your patterns are helping – or holding you back. This work is both personally and professionally transformative.

It’s the next level in your self-development journey, and I’d love to be your guide. If you’re interested or want to learn more, please reach out. Let’s connect to see if we’re a good fit.”

The Benefits of

Enneagram Testing and Coaching

Why do our clients embrace Enneagram coaching for leaders and teams?

LEADERS

For individuals we work with, the Enneagram approach gets results. The benefits include:

  • Understanding what motivates you and how that shows up at work and in life
  • Uncovering and addressing your blind spots (you can’t improve what you don’t see yet!)
  • Deepening self-awareness and leveraging your unique style
  • Improving communication and leadership effectiveness
  • Honing your ability to work with others
  • Enhancing motivation and productivity

TEAMS

Teams that work well together outperform those who don’t. For work groups, the benefits of working with the Enneagram as a cohort include:

  • Understanding what motivates each team member and collective dynamics of your team
  • Improving each team member’s ability to work with others
  • Making individual differences a team strength
  • Having more empathy for fellow team members
  • Learning how to build a happier, healthier, high-performing team

“Through her guidance, I clarified my core values, defined my goals.”

“Working with Kimberly at Work Invigorated as my leadership coach was an incredibly valuable experience. She made our conversations engaging and insightful from the very beginning, starting with an Enneagram assessment to understand my core personality traits. Nearly everything we discussed thoughtfully tied back to those tendencies, helping me see patterns in my leadership style. Kimberly listened deeply and grasped the complexities of our organization with impressive speed. She had a remarkable ability to identify the underlying structures of challenges before offering feedback – highlighting both what I was doing well and where I could improve. I looked forward to our sessions each week. Through her guidance, I clarified my values, defined goals & built a clear path forward. I would absolutely hire her again as a leadership coach.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Enneagram put me in a “box”?

Not at all! The Enneagram isn’t just a static label. It’s a dynamic system that shows how you behave under stress and security, and it provides a map for personal development and integration. It acknowledges that people aren’t “stuck” in a single Enneagram type but can grow and evolve, moving toward healthier expressions of their core motivations.

What if we already have results from other assessment tools, such as the CliftonStrengths, DISC or Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)?
The more insights we have, the better. If a client has other assessment tool results, we can use and incorporate those into our Enneagram coaching engagement as well.
Why is the Enneagram focused on motivation instead of personality traits?
The Enneagram aims to uncover the “why” behind your behavior. For example, two different people might act in a very organized and disciplined way, but an Enneagram test would reveal that one person (a Type One) is motivated by a fear of being “wrong,” while the other (a Type Three) is motivated by a fear of being worthless or a failure. This distinction and understanding of self is crucial for personal growth.
